FutureMate is live – and TattooMate is just the beginning
It was overdue
TattooMate has been around for a while. It runs in real studios, it solves a real problem – and it is actively being developed further.
But the longer I worked on it, the clearer it became: what TattooMate does for tattoo and piercing studios makes sense in other places too. Different industries, same core idea – digital consent forms, clean workflows, legally sound documentation.
That is where FutureMate came from.
What FutureMate is
FutureMate is the umbrella brand. Not a new piece of software, not a new product – but the structure under which products like TattooMate are developed and operated.
The idea is straightforward: instead of starting from scratch for every industry, we build on a shared foundation. What works for tattoo studios can – adapted – work for other studios and service providers too.
FutureMate stands for exactly that: software that is purpose-built. Not generic, not trying to serve everyone at once – but thought through for the specific industry it serves.
TattooMate stays TattooMate
If you use TattooMate, nothing changes for you. The software keeps running, updates keep coming, support stays the same.
TattooMate is now a product under FutureMate – but it remains the product it has always been: built for tattoo and piercing studios, developed from real studio operations.
What comes next
I cannot say too much yet. But there are already ideas for other industries where the same approach makes sense – structured digital forms, clear workflows, full data ownership.
When the time comes, it will be announced here. No hype, no big promises – just when it is ready.
The new website is up. TattooMate is running. And the next step is in progress.
